The empire of sport returns

Two thousand years after the sand of the Colosseum last drank its tribute, the spectacle is reborn beneath the floodlights north of London. Machine against flesh. Steel against nerve. Three disciplines. One arena. No mercy asked, none given.

I

Battle Racing

Circus Maximus

Twelve weaponised chariots. One circuit of fire, oil and shrapnel. Part race, part ambush — the finish line is survived, not crossed. Chariot racing rebuilt for an age of horsepower and ordnance.

The Circuit
II

Gladiator Duels

Munera · Man vs Machine

A single human champion against a purpose-built war automaton. Reflex versus calculation, courage versus tonnage. The crowd decides who walks out of the sand.

The Duel
III

Mass Warfare

Bellum · The Great Battles

Hundreds of fighters and battle-droids drawn into open warfare across a shifting battlefield. Legions clash, alliances break, and a single victor rises from the ruin.

Real Mario Kart, with real stakes

Forget the cartoon. The Circus Maximus straps live drivers into armoured battle-karts and turns them loose on a 4.2km gauntlet of hazards, weapons and sabotage. Shells become shrapnel. Banana skins become oil-slicks the width of a lane.

  • Twelve drivers, twelve machines, one circuit
  • Live weapon pickups and battlefield hazards
  • Position scoring across three brutal laps
Munera
Discipline II

Flesh against the machine

A lone gladiator steps onto the sand to face a war automaton built for one purpose. No team. No second chance. Just a human heartbeat against servo-driven steel — and a crowd whose verdict is final.

  • One human champion versus one combat droid
  • Tiered automatons, from Tiro to the dreaded Primus
  • The mob raises a thumb — or turns it down
Bellum
Discipline III

When the legions collide

The arena floor opens into a full battlefield. Human cohorts and gladiator-droids are deployed in their hundreds for open warfare — a churning melee of strategy, betrayal and overwhelming force, until one banner still stands.

  • Hundreds of fighters and battle-droids per engagement
  • Shifting terrain, siege engines and choke-points
  • Last banner standing claims the night
